cropped-blq-icon2.jpg  Hello!! Tonight is the night! BLQ play once more at Scottish Dave’s pub in Clinton CT!
So come down tonight for a great Scottish pub dinner and drinks, no cover charge.
Highlights of the menu include  Minted onion bajis, Chipotle black bean burger, Guinness stew, Fish & chips – the real authentic UK style!, Haggis supper – Scotland’s infamous and delicious national dish, a must experience!, Chicken tikka masala wrap and more. And if you have room left after  that or you are feeling extra decadent….or just brave… you might want to try one of Scotland’s most insane creations, a deep fried chocolate bar (a milky way) with ice cream!.
We will be performing from around 7:00pm. We have a new tune or two since last time you saw us, and John has a new upright bass. So come join us and help christen it.

BLQ in the studio

cropped-blq-icon2.jpg Hello lovely Black Lodge fans, and thanks to all who came out to see us at Scottish Daves. We had a great time with you new fans and old xxx.

As it stands this month, we are focused on recording new material. So we will be in the studio rather than out playing live.
Stay tuned for more info on that and for future show announcements.

I will leave you today with a pic of myself, Dan and John doing sound check at Dave’s, taken by drummer Paul.
